At its core, Darwin-G4 is a frequency-based detection system. It requires no machinery or components to enter your pipeline — making it completely non-invasive and safe for continuous operation.

The Technology

• The Darwin-G4 emits a continuous dual-signal that propagates throughout the pipeline.
• The signal is transmitted through a hydrophone that is clamped onto the pipeline, or placed inside a thermowell (depending on the pipeline material).
• Every liquid and gas has its own unique frequency characteristics — Darwin-G4 is tuned to match them.
• It detects changes in the area and circumferential dimensions of the pipe, identifying exactly where a defect exists.
• Compatible with all pipeline materials, all pipe sizes, and all liquids or gases — as long as the pipeline has volume.

This means Darwin-G4 can be deployed across virtually any pipeline infrastructure, from oil and fuel lines to water distribution networks and industrial gas systems.
